Food Workshops
My workshops are all about getting together to cook and share a meal. The focus may be on specific techniques, exploring ingredients, learning new skills, cooking for different food preferences, there are so many options to learn and play with food. But really we gather to connect over food. If we’re lucky, there are leftovers to take home along with the warm memories.
I love experimenting in the kitchen. As a friend commented recently, my kitchen is a laboratory - exploring the what, how and why of food. I support local and fairtrade growers, producers and shops. When it comes to food, investing in the health and wellbeing of soil, people, animals and environment are essential to my decision making.
In-person cookery workshops are on hold at the moment. I’m looking for suitable venues to host them, if you have a space, or know of a venue, do get in touch. I am also available for private workshops, online or in person.
I run workshops at events and for organisations. I have worked with Transition Bro Gwaun, Narberth Food Festival, Communities First, Pembrokeshire County Council, The Really Wild Food and Countryside Festival, Sauerkrautathon (we set a new world record!), in primary and secondary schools and alternative educational settings.
If you’d like to talk to me about cookery workshops please get in touch via my contact page.
